Eating smarter could be one of the fastest ways to become a better mom, because what we eat affects how we feel, and how we feel affects how we respond to those around us.
“You are what you eat.” You’ve heard it before. Maybe you’ve even said it to your kids. But how often do we, as moms, think about the effect of food on our actions and attitudes toward our children?
On today’s show, Trina Holden, shares several simple ways to make better food choices and even get our families excited about healthy eating. No, really.

Hi Kat! Re. the sponsor thing – my view would be do whatever you need to do to keep this wonderful podcast going and thriving!
Re. ideas for the future: I love what you do at present but it did occur to me that I’d love to hear you (and perhaps a guest?) advise real life mums (like you’re not! ha ha) on problems or issues that they’re facing – a kind of on-air mentoring session?
But keep doing what you do so well – there’s a reason you’re up there at the top of the iTunes chart! With very much love x
Aw…thanks for the support Suse! And that could definitely be a cool idea. Even if it was a pre-announcement of the guest and then have listeners share a situation or question. You’ve got me thinking now….
Great making yougurt God Bless
I say go for the sponsor, girl!
And I would LOVE to hear more solo podcasts.. maybe one a month?
Nell
Nell,
So you’re not tired of my goofiness? Oh good. 🙂 I’ll try to throw a few more solo shows into the rotation! Thanks SO much for taking the time to share your thoughts. It really means a lot.
Thanks for this interview! It’s a crazy season for us, and I really don’t like to cook in it. This helped me give myself grace for these days, make the best choices possible, and put a freezer cooking day on the calendar!
