In this episode of the Inspired to Action Podcast, I’m chatting with my good friend Katie Orr about our failures and successes as we develop the habit of Bible study in this crazy season of motherhood.
Katie offers some simple, practical tips as well as a study method we can fit into even the craziest of days.

How to Listen to This Podcast
If you’re new to podcasts, think of them like little radio shows that you can listen to at your convenience. They are perfect to listen to and learn from as you workout, fold laundry, wash dishes or conquer the world.
1. Listen right here on the blog. Click through to the site and click the little play button at the beginning of this post.
2. Listen on your smartphone, iPad or iPod Touch – There are a lot of great podcasting apps. Apple has a free one in the app store, but I like one called Downcast. It allows me to search for shows, subscribe to them and even speed up the audio.
3. Subscribe to the Podcast – just click here
to access the podcast in iTunes. You can also search for it on your smartphone app (like the ones listed above) and subscribe.
Hello!! All the prints are awesome ( so pretty ) I can picture the one with the owl on the wall in my church sunday school class. I am allways telling the kids OWL = Our Wise Lord
Love them all! 🙂
I love your podcasts!
I listen while doing dishes 🙂 Dishes is my laundry.
I love the elephant art and the Be a Blessing catch phrase!
“Press On”…one of my favorite verses!

Oh how I love these! But I’d choose ‘opportunity to trust God’ as our daily reminder.
A wife’s vow Bible verse art print // Proverbs 31:12 “To do him good all my life”
I love the saying. Also love your posts. Just recently came across you from a friend that blogs, and am really enjoying it. Getting back to where I need to be with God makes everything feel better!
I love the 2 Corinthians 1:10 “He has rescued” one. We are in need to remember everyday how He has rescued us.
My favorite is the 1 Corinthians 15:10 one that speaks of God’s wonderful Grace! Beautiful.
I like the Turtle/Snail James 1:19 picture
Beautiful print choices! I would choose the Opportunity to Trust God print. There were two others that spoke out to me. However, the chosen print would be hung in our home for ALL to read, remember, and remind. Thank you for the chance to win this giveaway. These prints would make great Christmas or baby shower gifts.
I love the Philippians 3:12 frame best. They are all great pictures but this one is one of my favorites.
Hello. I love the faithfully fed one (and then the aim to please only one) photo. This makes a nice, modern and fresh looking art for our house without screaming God. (at least at first glance- the first one). I like that, since I am the only one in our home that believes. The “faithfully fed” one reminds me that I don’t need to have everything all figured out in order to make it- God will give me what I need if I depend on and look to Him regularly. Makes great Christmas gifts too! Hmmmm 🙂
I love the “Swift to Listen, Slow to Speak, Slow to Anger” turtle print. What a peaceful and happy reminder of powerful things.
I love the turtle and the snail! Such a good reminder to be slow to anger for a hot-tempered little one (or Mama)
I love “Press On” such a good reminder, I have the perfect spot by my front door. 🙂
Oooh! I love them all but the one that was pictured, with the owl (Nursery or Kid’s Room Baby Owl Bible Verse Art Print “Know WHOSE you are” // Psalm 100:3 “we are His”) is perfect for my sweet granddaughter’s nursery. All her work is precious!
I would choose Beautifully Clothed to remind my daughter of the Lord’s unfailing provision.
These are *so* sweet – I had a tough time picking just one!
I like the “Press On” – that’s one of my favorite verses!
Awesome prints!
to do him good all my life – love that one – a great reminder to me!
What a great giveaway! I think I fell in love with the cute little monkey and the reminder to bring my kids up in The Lord!
I would choose the Opportunity to Trust God print – but they are all beautiful!
I love all of the beautiful prints but my favorite is the Wife’s Vow, one of my favorite verses- Proverbs 31:12. I would love to have any of them though! 🙂
Philippians 3:12 “Press On”. These are wonderful prints!
How do you expect me to choose ONE print!?! They are all adorable.
I think my favorite is the “aim to please only one”, or the sunrise bible verse for my hellomorning spot!
Thanks for another podcast! Excited to hear you and Katie chat it up 🙂
I love the Sunrise Bible Verse Art Print // Psalm 90:14 “Satisfy us in the morning.”
They are great! I’d have to choose Isaiah 441:10 Bunny Bible Verse to start with.
I love the gentle lamb and the roaring lion! So hard to pick a favorite
Such gorgeous prints, it’s so hard to choose just one! However, I love Philippians 3:12.
I love the “Opportunity to trust God” print – a great little reminder to have around!
“Faithfully fed” with a picture of a bird – great reminder not to worry!
Those are beautiful! I love the Owl one. Such a great reminder for moms and kids too!
I love: Opportunity to trust God – perfect!!!
I love the lion scripture – “watch your roar”. My son loves animals, especially lions and I think it would be a fun print to remind him of the power of words.
I love the bird vibe verse print. Nice collection!
Philippines 3:12 is my personal fav!!
It’s hard to choose… They’re so beautiful! I think I would also go with the owl. It would go well in my kids’ room!
Love the Pink Owl “Know WHOSE you are” // Psalm 100:3 “we are His”. What a sweet reminder for not only our little girl but us as well!
Love these, especially the owl (know whose you are;)
The lion reminds me of my son;
the chick, my daughter,
the turtle myself, and
the owl is my husband.
I love the faithfully fed with the bird. Beautiful reminder where even the basics come from!
I love the turtle with James 1:19!
They are all so sweet.
I love the turtle and snail print! I love this verse, plus turtles were my mama’s favorite animal and seeing them always reminds me of her.
I love the turtle and snail print as well! http://www.etsy.com/listing/151903818/nursery-or-kids-room-turtle-snail-bible?ref=shop_home_active
I love the verse as it is a constant need in my life with small ones. Plus we sort of have a thing in our family about turtles…my husband and I picked out two to represent us on our honeymoon, we leave them fun places in the house. Now we have three other little turtles 😉

I love the Galatians 2:21 – I do not lay aside the Grace….
It reminds me that if we get caught up in rules or following a check list, we nuliify His grace.
I love the “opportunity to trust God”, because that is always something I need to remind myself. I naturally want to take control over everything and struggle to let it go and give it to God. I always do at the end, but I always need to remind myself of this.
I love the owl. It would go perfect in my kids’ new playroom.
My favorite art print is the “Press On” one from Philippians 3:12 – such a great verse, so inspiring, and the print is so nicely done! I am in the process of re-decorating my 2 teen sons’ shared bedroom – need to get rid of things from their elementary days – and need to update their artwork. This print would be a perfect way to remind them of who they are and are meant to be in Christ!
I really like all if them and wish I could have all of them hung up around the house. The one that really makes me chuckle is the alligator print.
I LOVE the “i have so much grace for you” with the paint roller. we recently moved and I like the imagery of the Lord giving us a fresh coat of paint 🙂
I love them all! How beautiful! If I had to chose one though it would be 1 Corinthians 15:10.
I really like the “stop and eat the roses” print. It’s really cute and perfect for my kiddos. We all need to slow down sometimes and reminders are good.
Psalm 90:14 print is my fav! Thanks for the giveaway!
I have a hard time deciding, I also love them all! …but I might be biased 😉
I love 1 Corinthinians 15:10. It is because of His love for me that I am happy with what I am! A true blessing.
It’s so hard to choose! I like the elephant and the owl prints. The alligator one is pretty funny, too.
I love the psalm 90:14 print! Such a great reminder for me these days.
I love the Opportunity to Trust God. Would look great on my wall!
Love this Owl on we are His and my 2nd is the Press On! Love them, so simple but powerful!
I would like to be entered to win the Marydean Designs giveaway please! I like the print “A wife’s vow”. We have been married 11 years and have 2 little ones and my heart’s desire is to do my husband good every day.
Thank you!
Tiffany Arnette
I love all the prints, but I think my favorite one is the “love vowed” print! My husband and I have a wall of wedding pictures in our room and this would go so nicely in the middle!
Thanks for the give-away!
These are all so cute!
*I* like the “press on” one, but the kids would love the “rest in the Lord” one… or the owl… or the elephant, LOL!
The “Faithfully Fed” – what a beautiful way to interpret the verse!
“Aim to please only One”..Such an important reminder to a people pleaser
I love the owl one! It would match my daughter’s room perfectly, and what a perfect scripture: we are His. Best ever! 🙂
My husband and I currently do not have a head board and I would LOVE to hang the husband and wife vows above our heads 🙂 This may be an early Christmas gift, thank you for sharing!!
I love the forgiven much, loves much with hearts.
Thank you for your website, it encourages me often!
My favorite is the sunrise bible verse picture…it would go great in my girls’ room!
I’m so indecisive. I loved the duckling, owl, and turtle. All three wonderful!
So many great prints. I would have to say my favorite though is the “Aim to please only one.”
The poppy (beautifully clothed), please. It was hard to pick! Thanks for the chance to win.
Opportunity to trust God – wow, this one speaks to me so loudly! Beautiful art and so encouraging.
Kind of impossible to choose just one… but if I have to pick one I’d pick the lifesaver “He will rescue us” http://www.etsy.com/listing/152028643/bible-verse-art-print-2-corinthians-110?ref=shop_home_active
I love water, boats, and knowing how God has rescued me – and gives me hope for rescue soon! 🙂
Oh I love the turtle “Swift to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger” This is a great one for kids AND moms!
Isaiah 41:10 fear not with the bunny print
I love the Wife’s vow of the OWL, so so beautiful!
Someone needs to make some state magnets that can go together to create one map.
Type A = why we’re friends. ha!
Wait, Kat is sarcastic! Why did I not know that? That changes things…
Good stuff ladies! Thanks for the encouragement. Thankful to have found donotdepart.com Game changer. I even recommended Savoring Living Water to my former Sunday School teacher who definitely knows the Word, but wanted to let him know that there are still people who are willing to dig into the Word and not just read supplements.
Time to find Taylor Swift’s song now… :p
Found the Inspired to Action podcast recently and love it. So encouraging for moms! Am listening to all the old episodes and just listened to episode 17 about bible study. What I have found great to get into the bible while having two small kids is the daily audio bible podcast by Brian Hardin. It’s something I can do every day no matter how tired I am.
Sharon,
That’s a great tip. My kids often listen to audio Bibles and I like to sometimes while I’m exercising. I’ll have to check that one out!
