I had great excuses why it happened. It made perfect sense. I had two kids at home. One baby and one big girl. Just like it was supposed to be at noon every weekday. Except…it was the wrong big girl.
I was rocking the baby when my husband came into the room.
Him: “Um, the school just called and asked if you were on your way.”
Me: “What? Why would I need to go to the….NNNNOOOOO!!!!!”
My 7 year old girl was home with a fever and my 5 year old girl had half day kindergarten….that ENDED 45 minutes ago.
