I’m so excited to announce our Bible Study for the Fall Maximize Your Mornings Challenge Session.
Katie Orr and Lara Williams did an incredible job putting it together, so I’ll let them introduce it:
I long for my life to be one which bears the unmistakable mark of a Christian. When people interact with me, I want them to see Christ and His characteristics in me.
But when the baby is crying, my oldest is trying to tell me every detail of his very important dream, my toddler is…well, being a toddler, I’ve lost track of time and we need to be in the car, like NOW, but no one seems to carry the same urgency that I have, and, oh my gosh, I’m still in my pajamas…well, I’m not sure there is much evidence of Christ in me in those moments.
Why is it so hard to do what I desire to do?
If you know this familiar struggle then I’m glad you are reading this. Not (only) because it makes me feel less alone, but because this Fall we are going to take a journey through the Bible to find out how we can have the abiding fruit of Christ in our lives.
I’ve had to exercise great self control to not just jump into this “Fruits of the Spirit” Bible study as soon as I got it from Katie and Lara. (Well, I guess that’s one fruit in my corner…) I’m so excited to get up tomorrow morning and study alongside all of you! Feel free to share what you’re learning in your groups.
Katie and Lara also have a new ebook that just released yesterday. It’s called Savoring Living Water and it’s all about learning to study the Bible and have an effective quiet time. Whereas the MYM ebook talks about how to get up and also mentions exercise and planning, the SLW ebook is ALL about your quiet time. Good, good stuff.
Download the MYM Bible Study Here
(Note: This study is optional. You don’t have to do it just because you’re doing the Challenge. Likewise, you don’t have to be in the Challenge to do the Bible Study.)
Ok, without further ado, here is the Maximize Your Mornings Fall Session Bible Study.
Also? Did I really just use whereas and ado in one post? Somebody’s watched Pride and Prejudice o-n-e too many times…

Yay! I love the Philippians study last session, so I am very excited to start this one.
I’ve been gone from Inpired to Action for a while:( But am ready to re-maximize my mornings:) Can anyone join this Bible study or did you have to register for the Maximize Your Mornings challenge. I missed the registration deadline for that:(
Julie, Anyone can do the study. I think Kat will post about an overflow group later for those who missed the reg deadline so you still MYM with us! =)
I’m so excited! I’ve been looking for a bible study. I can’t wait to get started.
I am thrilled about this study! I can’t wait to start studying! Thank you for re-igniting in me a desire to get up early and study God’s Word.
I’m so excited to get started tomorrow morning and what is so ironic is that I had also picked out a Bible study a few days ago to do on the Fruit of the Spirit!
Woah, it is tripping me out seeing Katie and Lara all over this post! That’s my sister and my name!! Too funny! Cause you know, it’s not like the spelling ‘Lara’ is very common! 😉
That’s hilarious. 🙂 Nice to “meet” you, Katie.
Is there any option left for those of us who signed up but never got a confirmation e-mail? I checked every spam box… nothing. And I only just realized the other day that everyone else had already received all their info. Is there a group of stragglers? Even if we’re in different time zones, etc?
Crystal, I see 7 Crystals in the lists. Did you sign up for the FB, twitter, or email group?
via twitter. @cultivatehope
Crystal, I see you in #mym1 and your AC is Nicole (NicoleakaGidget)
Yay! Thanks Joyce!
Is there any way I can get into a facebook group. I failed to sign up in time. : (
Just thought I would try!
Thanks,
Tracy Selle
Tracy, You can join one of the overflow groups. I think Kat said she will post about it tomorrow. =)
What would I do without you Joyce? 🙂
[…] Here is the link to the bible study series and instructions for download! […]
I can’t wait to get started with the Bible Study and Maximize Your Mornings!!!! I’ve been looking forward to it forever, and will be checking out my group today! Thank you for organizing all of this, you’re helping me get a Bible study where I might otherwise not be able to!
Ok so I signed up for the challenge but I think I deleted the email that said the group I was in and stuff. Is there a way to get that info again?
Tiffyany, I saw Kat post this link on FB. http://mim.io/410291 Is that what you’re looking for?
I have tried and tried to download the Bible study but cannot get it. I think maybe China has blocked it but am not sure. I keep just getting a blank page. I’m sorry to bother you all when this is such a busy time but can anyone help me out?
Thanks.
Dena, Sorry I can’t be more help right now, but the only thing I can think of is that I think Katie might post all the information as her first introduction to the study. She did this for the Philippians study.
Dena,
I’ll try emailing it to you…
That is so nice of you! Thanks so much. Even if it doesn’t work I appreciate your efforts. I know how busy you must be right now. No hurry. I can wait until you have a little more time.
Woot! I am so excited to be joining you ladies this fall !!
Hi, I am not in a group, but would like to participate in this bible study with a friend. Are the questions going to be on this blog?
Oh, nevermind. I think I just answered my own question. Guess I should have read the bible study before I asked. :-/
Love to be a part of this – I am not in a group but would love to be if there is room somewhere! I sooo need this :-))
Jennifer, For the MYM, Kat will announce an overflow group today. I know for sure FB will have one, but I’m not sure about twitter or email. If you are just planning on doing the study, you can hop on over to Katie’s site Do Not Depart and join the conversations there.
I am very excited about the Bible Study! I kept wondering about “walking by the spirit”..what does that mean practically?! I came across a WONDERFUL article that I would like to share here, for everybody who was wondering the same thing I was:)

Also, if you scroll down you will find “Five Steps Toward Walking by the Spirit”..reading this has helped me so much more to understand the passage of this BIble Study better..
I’m also wondering about a stragglers group! Is one available to join? Thanks!!

Hi Kat,
Some friends and I from church have been doing this bible study faithfully in a private group on FB and it has been a wonderful way to start the day. I was wondering if there are plans for another one when this one is over?
