Overview of the Hello Mornings Registration Form

Registration is now closed for the Winter 2012 Session. Registration for the Summer session will open April 16,2012. In the meantime, you can always join in on the #hellomornings Twitter stream.

This page explains each section of the short registration form. If you have any further questions, come visit our forums.

Email address
Enter your email address here. Double check for typos.

Name
Enter your first name here.

Last Name
Enter your last name or a unique fake last name. This is how you will find yourself on the final group list.

Nearest Time Zone
Your specific time zone may not be listed. Please select the time zone nearest to you. View this website for time zone reference.

(We will assign everyone into group based on time zone.)

I will participate in the Challenge via:
“Facebook”
Choose this option if you want to be part of a Facebook group. Facebook groups are private and your interactions will not appear on your personal facebook stream. You also will not need to friend everyone in your assigned group.

“Twitter”
Choose this option if you want to participate in the Challenge via a Twitter group.

“Forums”
Choose this option if you want to participate in a Forum Group. The forum will be located on our site.

“N/A I am part of a pre-planned group”
If you are already part of a pre-planned group, you do not need to notify us of your group format. You might be meeting via email, text, phone or in person.

****note*** We will not be organizing email groups this session. If you want to organize your own group and register as a preplanned group, you may do that, though. So if you want to ask your group from last session to stick together and do an email group, then you can certainly do that.

We feel that email groups are best for those who already know each other somewhat. Many email groups from last session struggled and we feel the forums will be a better outlet.

The forums (not these – these are temporary forums) which we are working on, will be private and accessible via mobile devices.

To the BEST of my ability, I will check in with my group weekly:
Our groups are only as strong as the participation of our members. If you are serious about making the most of your mornings, you need to make a commitment. By checking this box, you are agreeing to check in weekly with your group. That doesn’t mean you need to get up each morning at the perfect time. It just means you will let your group know each week how you are doing. This will provide a simple way for you to get back on the wagon, if you fall off. It will also provide another layer of accountability for you and ensure group interaction.

(If you only have a few people in your group and you’d like more, you can visit our forums for others who are looking to have a larger preplanned group.)
