2nd to following scripture, Jason and the band downhere are the main reason’s we sponsor a child in Zimbabwe through World Vision.  I personally know Jason’s passion to help the helpless.  He has such a way with words, in his songs and writing, his heart is revealed and it clearly shows in this blog.

Unfortunately, do to the dictator in Zimbabwe, WV has had to stop giving aid to our sponsored child.  There are over 400,000 WV kids in Zimbabwe not receiving their aid (approx. 1.2 million when including all NGO organizations).  Please pray for them and the leader to let organizations such as WV feed the helpless and the hungry.  They are caught in a political tug of war and are the ones getting hurt the most. 

It is not fair and it is breaking God’s heart.

Thanks Jason for sharing your heart the way you do, you are great spokesman for the helpless and the needy and an inspiration to us all.

My wife and I recently attended a concert with downhere, Jason Gray, and Shawn McDonald. We had previously considered sponsoring a child and it was Jason’s testimony about WV that finally got us off the fence and inspired to action. We now have a new addition to our family - a beautiful 5 year old girl named Keuoe in Lesotho. Thank you, Jason, for sharing your heart and passion for this ministry and prompting us to do the same.
