Rich in Unredeemed Dreams
Last week, I went on a field trip to Austin, the Capitol city of Texas, with my daughter’s class and while we were in one of the museums, I saw this quote written on the wall, ” Texas is rich in unredeemed dreams.”
What a hopeful, vibrant statement. Texas was so big and vast that families could by thousands of acres of land for less than .04 an acre! They could farm, ranch and build bigger, brighter futures. All they had to do was come.
But it was really the phrase unredeemed dreams that stuck with me and I couldn’t help but think that this is also true:
Heaven is rich in unredeemed dreams.
God is so big and so vast. He created you on purpose and He wants you to live with a purpose. He has a bigger, brighter future for you than you could think or imagine…
…all you have to do is come.
So, beautiful friend, can I encourage you to lay down the phone, turn off the computer and go spend time with the One who holds your dreams?
If you don’t know where to start, Psalm 18 is a favorite of mine…a reminder that He delights in you.Leave a Comment
