The Hello Mornings Bible Study

I’m happy to announce the Hello Mornings Challenge Winter 2012 Bible Study. Katie Orr and Lara Williams have been working hard on it and I must stay it’s excellent. Simple yet in-depth.

We’ll be studying Psalms and the theme of our study is Run To Him.

They’ve done a LOT of work, including alternate days for those who want extra reading, optional memory verses from the text and a great overview of how you can get the most from each days’ passage.

We’ll be doing this Bible Study in partnership with Katie’s blog Do Not Depart. So each Friday she’ll have in depth insight into that week’s passage and a fun opportunity to discuss what we’ve learned. If you’re signed up for the Challenge I’ll include the link to her weekly commentary in each email so you won’t miss it.

Please note that you don’t have to be part of the Hello Mornings Challenge to participate in the study. Anyone can download it and participate in the weekly discussions.

The Hello Mornings Printables

My blog friend Amanda from Grace in Our Moments wrote about putting together her own Hello Mornings Notebook and that prompted me to make available a few printables I use often in my morning time in case you all want to put together your own notebook.

Included are a revamped Weekly Overview (similar to the one in the eBook, but updated a bit), Prayer Journal, Daily Journal, Daily Overview and a Weekly Project Planning form.

Download the Hello Mornings Printables here.

I hope you enjoy all these resources!

For future Hello Mornings Sessions, what resources would you find helpful?

  4. Love the cute, little bookmark cheat sheet. This looks like a great study. Thank you all so much!

  5. This is wonderful…thanks!! I’m needing hellomornings again in a bad way. Very much looking forward to it!

  6. This looks great! I’m really looking forward to doing this. Because we are moving back to Asia and will be on a totally different time zone I have never gotten involved in the Hello Mornings groups but I really look forward to going through this study!

  7. Yay! Looking forward to the challenge.
    See you soon.

  8. Suzie (from Sydney) says:

Thanks Kat :) I joined the last time you were running the hello mornings. It really was the spring board into a whole new level of closeness with God. I got a local friend to do it with me so I could be kept really accountable and we discussed the studies each week as we watched our kids in their weekly swimming lesson! I’d never enjoyed the swimming lessons much, until then!! Thank you, thank you. You are a true blessing.

    • Suzie,
That is SO cool to hear! As I sit at a coffee shop in the midst of sorting all the registrants into groups, it is such an encouragement to me that this work is impacting lives… Thanks for sharing!

    • That is awesome Suzie! This is my 5th time doing the challenge, but my 1st time doing this with a group of friends. I’m so excited! That is wonderful that you can use that time together each week to encourage one another and discuss the study.

  9. Heather P. says:

Thank you! I’m so excited about this study and my hello mornings!

  10. Once again I can’t get it for some reason. I hate to bother you when I know you’re so busy but do you think you could send it to me again. I really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

  11. I’m excited and, admittedly, a little nervous. I didn’t realize from the sign up info that you were sending out a Bible study as well. I’m looking forward to studying Psalms along with the Bible study I’m already working on. I know God will provide the time and focus to do both. It’s up to me to use what He provides.

    • Just a note: you don’t have to do the Bible study if you don’t want to. It’s not required or anything. Or if you like it but have something different you’re working on you can save it on your computer and do it when you’re finished with what you’re doing.

      • Thanks, Dena. I do love the structure of the Bible study. In fact, I’ve been sharing it with my friends since I read the initial email.

  12. Hi Kat, thank you so, so much for taking the time to plan, design and post these printables – and for sharing the Hello Mornings Bible study. I continue to be grateful for your constant inspiration (especially on a day when I feel like a depleted mommy, post Sunday-school teaching/busy church day!). This is nice to chew on for a quiet Sunday afternoon while the kids are outside playing in the leaves with Daddy. I thank Him for you, soul sister! xoxoxo Courtney

  13. Kat, Thank you so much for these. I’ll admit, I’ve been chasing squirrels and rabbits over here….I needed this to help me get grounded for ‘me’ again!!!

  14. Rebecca, you can do it!! The break in between the challenge got me on a weird schedule. Need to be back to MYM!

  15. Thanks for all this – just downloading and printing now…
    Blessings!

  16. Thank you for this. I always fumble around what to study. I think I have too many resources that I just freeze. I can focus on this.

    • Michelle, I’m the same way. With the Internet, we have everything at our fingertips, and it’s so hard to limit the choices…and I have already have a hard time making decisions even if I only had 2 options. =p

  17. Hey! I am so excited to join this group. I have become a new Twitter lover, these last four months and I always saw hello mornings hashtags. I never knew what it was, except I knew Godly christian women were using it. I knew God would allow me to be a part if it was something He desired for me to do. I am excited it was in His plans!!! :) I am looking forward to “iron sharpening iron” and being in the Word together! Every morning is a good morning and now I will be sharing my love for the Lord with ah-mazing women all over the world! What a privilege! Blessings to you and I thank God for you and who you are and your devout love for the KING! :)

  18. Not signed up for Hello Mornings, but I will be reading this study alongside you all! Very exciting!
