The next Compassion Blogging trip starts today and two of my all time favorite writers are a part of it! They are in Ecuador and will even head down the Amazon!
And I can’t wait to read Ann Voskamp’s first post that will probably say something incredibly eloquent and poetic about how “dappled sunlight moves through the trees, stirring soul and lighting the way to gratitude to our God for all his gifts”.
Meanwhile, I’ll be here writing, “Y’ALL. A SNAKE FELL IN OUR CANOE AND I YELLED A BAD WORD IN FRONT OF ANN VOSKAMP.”
That pretty much sums up why I love both of their blogs. Ann’s writing and wisdom is inspiring and profound. Melanie’s writing is honest, hilarious and witty. Also? It’s hilarious.
I’m so excited to see how they’ll both translate the same stories and experiences on this trip.
God has and will use their incredible writing talents to bring hope and joy and Jesus to the precious children of Ecuador.
I can’t wait to follow the journey! I hope you’ll read, share and pray as well.
Now go pray for one of these sweet faces, put a banner on your blog and share this trip on Twitter and Facebook. Your one, seemingly small action could forever change the life of a child.Leave a Comment
