This is one of my favorite all time songs. It’s called the C.S. Lewis song by Brooke Fraser and according to my search of the archives, I haven’t posted it before. (Really?)
Not sure how that happened.
Above is the live version, which I adore. Below is the album with clearer sound so you can hear the lyrics, which are just phenomenal. (If you’re reading this via email or RSS and don’t see the videos, click here.)
If you’ve read the Maximize Your Mornings ebook or you’ve heard of the Maximize Your Mornings Challenge or you’ve seen the #hellomornings stream on Twitter, but you’ve not yet started the glorious habit of letting the God of all Creation speak the first words of the day into your life, I hope this song will inspire you to awake to the mercy that awaits you every morning.

Love that song too. Will be back later to link up…Have a great day Kat and everyone else!
Music is just so powerful…I love how it speaks to us! Thank you for sharing, and thanks for this wonderful link-up!
Oh, one of my favorite things in the world is sharing great music. Glad you enjoyed it!
I finally downloaded and printed the maximize your mornings e-book, because I have been struggling to be consistent since the beginning of the summer. I am consistent with Bible Study, but not exercise, worship, or prayer time.
I read a portion of it and wanted to say we may be long lost sisters. I run to many of the songs you mentioned and the worship list fills my ipod.
Running and music = two of my favorite things. Yes, we may be long lost sisters! 🙂
Wow. *tears up* I love CS Lewis. And this song is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome Mish! I’m so glad you liked it too!
