I’m sitting in a coffee shop. Writing. Watching.
Out of the corner of my eye I see a man sitting. Hopeful.
In walks a group, among them, a little girl.
She runs. “Daddy!”
The man, her father, wraps her in his arms until she can’t be seen. Joy. Love. Contentment. Peace.
My heart melts.
In this scene, seemingly orchestrated just for me, I’m reminded that Someone waits for me…for you with the same Hope each morning.
