Few things move me like music. I adore it. I spend WAY too much time on YouTube watching/listening to concert footage and videos.
This is an old song, but it’s Phil Wickham’s performance of his song True Love is amazing.
Walls we couldn’t move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died
Free from fear. Free from comparison. Free from insecurity. He removed their hold on us.
Now we just need to let go of them and cling to Him.

I think we all see a trend here. Maybe you should just subscribe to Ann’s blog. Seriously, though, I LOVE this idea of having a quiet, peaceful place our children can retreat when emotions run high.

1. I discovered the song, “All Along” by Remedy Drive this week, and I love it! It’s about how we search for something to complete us, when all along what our heart is searching for is Jesus. Here’s a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AXKXwYz_As
2. I also wrote a post a week ago that includes part of my testimony and how powerful the love of Jesus is! Here’s the link: http://mypurposeinhim.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-thought-my-life-was-over.html
Kat ~ You truly do inspire me to action. Thank you for the Phil Wickham song and thanks for the peace retreat link.
Well, Gina, I don’t think you could give me a bigger compliment! Thanks!
Oh Kat, please know that God spoke to my heart through the peace retreat link. I have a sensitive and emotional three year old daughter and I have been praying about how to handle her outbursts. These last few weeks have been especially hard. This idea is so perfect. Thank you so much for the link. Bethany
I’m so glad! I hope it really helps. I’ve been using it with my kids and I’ve found it not only helps their attitude, but mine too.
I loved Scribbit’s post too! And “How to Slow Down Time” has my name written all over it!! Thanks so much for linking up & sharing these posts:)
