iTunes Gift Card Winner (and A Little Something For Everyone)

By February 16, 2010General

Ugh.
I apologize for the delay in announcing the winner of the iTunes gift card. I got slammed hard by sickness for the past couple of days. And by slammed hard, I mean I didn’t even OPEN MY COMPUTER for TWO whole days.

Yes, my sweet friends, it was THAT bad.

But, no worries, I’m feeling much better now. However, I’ll probably hold off on the Purpose series until next week so that I can fully engage with you all in the comments. But I still have great posts planned for this week.

And The Winner Is….

Without further adieu, the winner of the itunes gift card is… (drumroll please)

Goodies for Everyone

I have a little something for everyone today, though. You may or may not know, that I LOVE music. And being that I love you all too, I thought you should have some free (and legal, of COURSE) music from some of my favorite artists for your morning playlists.

Brooke Fraser
Brilliant songwriting, gorgeous lyrics and passionate faith. The song she offers for free on her site is the title track from her latest album. It’s called Albertine and it’s named for a girl she met on a life changing trip to Rwanda.

To get the song
1. Click on her signature when the page loads.
2. Then click on “Brookeville”
3. Finally, click on “music” and you’ll see the link to download the song.

JJ Heller
I’m specifically sending you to the link below to get JJ Heller’s song True Things. JJ is 10 kinds of awesome. She and her husband Dave are super sweet and love Jesus well. True Things is one of my favorite songs of hers. As a bonus for you, though, the whole page is like candy for a music fan. Lots of great songs for your morning playlists.

Twitter and Facebook News

I don’t know about you, but I’ve had so much fun reading all the comments. I often can’t keep up with responding promptly, but I do read them all and pray for you wonderful ladies. I thought it would be good to create a few more ways for us to interact, so I’ve created Twitter and Facebook profiles for Inspired To Action. I have some exciting ideas brewing, so be sure to stay tuned.

If you Twitter, Inspired To Action is on Twitter here.

And we’re on Facebook here.

I think these will be great ways for us all to get to know each other just a little better!

Again, I apologize for the lateness of this post and for postponing the Purpose series, but I can’t wait to get started next week!
