Reviving the Romance, How to keep your house clean, and how to help your children develop their own quiet time are the three that resonated most with me - although I would read all of them with interest!

So many fantastic suggestions girls!

Time management - how to complete the Cinderella work, get in a workout and still spend quality group and one-on-one time with the children. Oh, and sleep. Menu planning and quick clean-up ideas are a piece of this puzzle.

Embracing imperfection - there is absolutely a big guilt element for most mom's - the house isn't clean enough, the kids need more mommy time, mom doesn't have time to take care of herself, on and on . . .

I too would welcome ideas for how to get the kids involved in cleaning - they are 2 and 5 - and ways to keep them active in the winter when it'scold outside.

The real answer seems to be eliminating the notion/goal of balance from our lives and focusing instead on harmony. Fabulous advice from a friend of mine. We all seem to need to feel peace in our hearts, real peace - with our parenting, our housekeeping, our relationships. How can we manifest what we know spiritually to be true in our hearts and bring true peace and love to our days for us and our children?

Is it a problem if I like the sound of ALL the topics. :)

Some thoughts that popped into my head - teaching children to help around the house, discipline, scripture memorization, family devotions, relationship growth with hubby - and God...

Thanks! I'm looking forward to hearing more.

I could really benefit from tips and encouragement for the last three topics as well, especially in helping my children grow spiritually. The other topics sound great too, though :)

Sorry, I am a bit late. I would love to learn more about the last 3 topics, namely helping our children develop their own Godly habits and quiet time.

Actually I am interested in them all.. but my top would be....

Don’t Let Your Money Master You (Personal finance strategies)
How to be a Master Menu Planner (recipes, planning tips etc.)
How to help your children develop their own quiet time habit
Developing an Effective Prayer Life (praying for your family, church and others)

I'm interested in ALL the topics you listed, particularly revitalizing one's marriage, teaching your children to pray, making the most of my quiet time and developing an active prayer life.

First of all Thanks for your "Inspiration" I have a suggestion related to the Prayer Calendar. I would love to see one for the children to use to help them achieve the goals set on the Parent Prayer calendar!

There are references to this in many of the other comments, but what I'm struggling with and what I'd like some suggestions on is how to manage any of the suggested topics within the reality of a busy family (on a tight budget). I have kids ranging in age from 13 to 1 1/2, so I have both the busyness of activities and the contancy of a toddler who needs attention all day long (and makes LOTS of messes!). No routine, no matter how loosely structured, ever happens consistently around here, so it's impossibleto maintain things, let alone catch up on things that have been neglected for far too long. I don't expect things to be perfect, but I sure would like to be able to find field trip permission slips without hunting for 10 minutes or have a lot fewer crumbs on the floors all the time! :)

Home cleaning (I'm organized but it is hard to stay on top of the cleaning)
Quiet time for kids (Mine is 12yrs)
Prayer life (God has been showing me different people in my church to commit to praying for each week. I feel like I have much more purpose when I pray.)
I believe any topic that encourages us to be better is benificial. Thank you for your help Kat!
